SpaceX Million Person City On Mars

Elon Musk has a dream, and it's a good one. The founder of SpaceX plans to take humans to colonize Mars on reusable space ships carrying around 100 people each for a cost of $100,000 to $200,000 or less per person. That is pretty ambitious and cheap considering it would take around $10 billion for each person with the current rockets and spacecraft to get to the red planet. Stephen Hawking has said we have around 100 years to get off Earth and colonize a new planet before an inevitable disaster strikes, going by that statement it would seem we have no choice. Elon wrote that the first colony ships could start launching in a decade or so if everything goes perfectly. Image credit SpaceX
